Job summary

The role focuses on day‑to‑day healthcare operations issues and drafting, reviewing and negotiating hospital and physician contracts.

Required: 5+ years in healthcare law (EMTALA, HIPAA, Stark, ACA, fraud and abuse) with prior law firm experience; ability to travel up to 25%.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of healthcare law experience.
• Experience with EMTALA, HIPAA, Stark, ACA, fraud and abuse.
• Experience drafting/negotiating hospital and physician contracts.
• Previous law firm experience required.
• Ability to travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Advise hospital and corporate leadership on healthcare operations and regulatory matters.
• Draft, review and negotiate contracts for compliance and risk.
• Assist in policy development and legal research.
• Support compliance investigations and coordinate with Compliance Department.
• Help resolve disputes with third parties.
• Collaborate with department personnel to deliver legal services.
