Job summary

Syska Hennessy Group in Los Angeles, CA, seeks a Supervising Mechanical Engineer - Healthcare to lead multidisciplinary project teams and serve as Engineer of Record on healthcare facilities. You will coordinate design efforts, manage budgets, and ensure regulatory compliance while mentoring staff and maintaining client relations.

You must be a PE with 8+ years in PM, 12+ years in a consulting environment, and a strong background in MEP and healthcare design.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from an Accredited Institution.
• 8+ years of Project Management experience.
• 12+ years' experience in a consulting firm, at senior level in MEP.
• 5 years of supervisory experience.
• PE is required.

Responsibilities

• Represent the Firm with clients, contractors, architects, and project teams.
• Supervise, coordinate, and assign projects to engineering staff.
• Act as Engineer of Record on dedicated healthcare projects.
• Develop design standards, specifications, and criteria for projects.
• Manage budgets, schedules, and staff performance.
