Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• 5+ years in healthcare IT, interoperability, or infrastructure engineering.
• Strong HL7 v2.x and healthcare integrations experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, implement, and support HL7 interfaces between LIS, EMR, and healthcare applications.
• Manage and troubleshoot healthcare integrations using interface engines.
• Analyze HL7 messages and resolve mapping, routing, and workflow issues.
• Support interoperability projects including new interface implementations and migrations.
• Configure and maintain secure connectivity solutions (VPN, SFTP, TCP/IP).
• Provide infrastructure support for servers, cloud environments, networking, and application platforms.
• Monitor performance, troubleshoot production issues, and implement proactive solutions.
• Collaborate with vendors and clinical teams to ensure successful integrations.
• Develop technical documentation and interface specifications.
• Participate in testing, validation, and go-live activities with after-hours support as needed.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare security, privacy, and regulatory requirements.
