Job summary

MDVIP LLC is seeking an experienced accounting professional to support a portfolio of physician practices. You will partner with physicians, operational leaders, and executives to provide reliable financial reporting, budgeting, and decision support in a healthcare environment.

The role offers ownership of critical financial processes, opportunity to influence practice performance, and collaboration with a mission-driven team. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in accounting or equivalent with four years of related accounting experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office with advanced Excel skills.
• Experience with MAS 500 or similar accounting systems; CRM experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and maintains bank reconciliations; manages cash balance for each practice.
• Maintains balance sheet reconciliations.
• Compiles and analyzes financial information to prepare general ledger entries.
• Allocates shared costs amongst practices.
• Prepares monthly financial statements for each practice and presents to stakeholders.
• Researches and responds to physician or staff inquiries.
• Analysis of monthly budget variances.
• Reviews and approves purchase orders.
• Supports schedules for annual financial statement audits.
• Prepares annual P&L budgets at each practice level.
