Job summary

Ethereum Technologies is seeking an experienced data engineering professional to lead development, testing, and maintenance of data pipelines for healthcare datasets. The role emphasizes interoperability, dashboard creation, and automated workflows to enhance data quality and operational efficiency.

The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience with SAS, Python, and R, plus strong SQL and HL7/FHIR knowledge.

Qualifications

8+ years of experience developing, testing, maintaining, and troubleshooting programs using SAS, Python, R, or similar languages.
8+ years of experience in system integration, dashboard development, and process automation to improve data interoperability.
8+ years of experience working with structured and semi-structured healthcare, public health, or complex administrative datasets.
Strong knowledge of databases, data structures, and database querying techniques.
8+ years of experience gathering business requirements and translating them into technical solutions.
8+ years of experience testing and validating automated data integration workflows for data accuracy and reliability.
8+ years of documenting code, technical specifications, and workflows.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams including epidemiologists and program staff.
