Job summary

Huron is seeking an experienced Digital Technical Specialist to lead healthcare data extraction, reporting, and analytics for clients. The ideal candidate understands how healthcare data resides in EHR systems and can extract it cleanly from Oracle Health (Cerner), MEDITECH, Epic, and other platforms.

You will write and tune CCL, build SQL-based extracts, and develop reports and dashboards using SSRS, Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools.

Qualifications

3 to 5+ years of healthcare data experience in clinical, financial, operational, or IT settings.
Experience extracting data from Oracle Health (Cerner), MEDITECH, Epic, and other EHRs.
Ability to write, test, and maintain CCL for data extraction against Oracle Health (Cerner).
Strong SQL for querying, data analysis, and reporting.
Hands-on experience with SSRS, Power BI, or Tableau for reporting.

Responsibilities

Extract healthcare data across EHR systems to support reporting and analytics.
Write and tune Cerner Command Language (CCL) queries for data extraction.
Build SQL-based extracts and datasets for analysis and reporting.
Deliver reports and dashboards in SSRS, Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools.
Collaborate with client stakeholders to translate needs into technical designs.
Support healthcare reporting across clinical, operational, financial, and regulatory use cases.
Move and shape data using SQL Server, SSIS, and related tools.
Document designs, processes, and solutions clearly.
