Job summary

StevenDouglas is a high-growth medical practice organization seeking a seasoned finance leader to oversee all general accounting functions and drive financial discipline.

You will report to the CFO, lead month-end close for medical clinics, manage cash across multi-entity structures, and partner with revenue cycle management to ensure accurate billing and compliance. This role emphasizes strategic planning and capital budgeting in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong leadership and team-building abilities.
• Exemplary written and verbal communication skills; detail-oriented.
• Experience with month-end close, financial reporting, and budgeting.

Responsibilities

• Lead financial reporting and month-end close for medical clinics at the corporate accounting level.
• Own daily cash positioning and reporting across the multi-entity structure.
• Manage cash concentration/sweep structures between practice-level accounts and the corporate operating account.
• Drive financial discipline and operational efficiency across the division, including cost management and productivity enhancements.
• Prepare, in collaboration with Leadership, required reporting (MOR, Budgets, Forecasts, etc.).
• Oversee Physician Compensation process with operations and physician leadership.
• Partner with Revenue Cycle Management to ensure accurate billing and collections and compliance.
• Participate in annual strategic planning and annual operating budget; analyze variances.
• Provide data-driven insights and financial modeling to support strategic initiatives and growth.
