Job summary

Just Construction Recruitment is recruiting a Senior Healthcare Construction Superintendent for healthcare and commercial projects in Florida. You will lead on-site teams, coordinate with the Project Manager, and oversee field operations from preconstruction through turnover in occupied facilities.

The role emphasizes hospital renovations, strong coordination with architects and engineers, and ensuring safety compliance.

Qualifications

• 8-10+ years as a Construction Superintendent.
• Healthcare/hospital/medical office experience preferred.
• Interior renovations/remodeling in active healthcare environments.
• Experience managing multiple subs/stakeholders.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings/specs.
• Strong safety knowledge and OSHA standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to on-site teams, subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel.
• Manage daily field operations from preconstruction through turnover.
• Coordinate with Project Manager to meet schedules, budgets, and client expectations.
• Review plans and scopes to ensure quality and compliance.
• Develop and monitor project schedules, addressing delays proactively.
• Maintain site logistics, manpower, materials, and equipment.
• Ensure OSHA compliance and safety procedures on site.
• Coordinate with architects/engineers/owners to resolve design issues.
• Support project closeout, inspections, and turnover.
