Job summary

Project Resource Collective is seeking experienced Superintendents for healthcare construction projects in Nashville and potentially other markets. This role provides field leadership, coordination, planning, and supervision of construction activities, coordinating with management and trade partners on site.

The ideal candidate can anticipate challenges, drive safety and quality, and manage complex healthcare projects from preconstruction through closeout.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred or 10+ years of significant construction leadership experience.
• Superintendent I: 5+ years of construction management or related field leadership experience.
• Superintendent II: 8+ years of construction management or related field leadership experience.
• Healthcare construction experience is strongly preferred.
• Experience managing complex commercial, institutional, healthcare, or other large-scale construction projects from development through closeout.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, contracts, and other construction documents.
• Strong knowledge of construction safety, quality, risk management, and field operations.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day leadership and overall management of field construction activities.
• Coordinate assistant superintendents, subcontractors, craft labor, foremen, and other field personnel.
• Plan and implement field activities to ensure materials, equipment, inspections, and other resources support the project schedule.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, short-term look-ahead schedules, work plans, and site logistics plans.
• Review drawings, specifications, and construction documents for completeness, constructability, and potential conflicts.
• Coordinate plans and specifications with project management, design teams, engineers, subcontractors, and other project stakeholders.
• Maintain strong safety, quality, schedule, risk management, and regulatory compliance.
