Job summary

CORE is seeking an experienced Healthcare Construction Superintendent to lead on-site coordination for complex healthcare projects in Flagstaff, AZ. You will drive safety, quality, schedule, and cost controls while coordinating with trade partners and clients, ensuring operational continuity in occupied facilities.

You will oversee project mobilization through closeout, mentor subcontractors in healthcare safety and ICRA, and ensure compliance with hospital requirements and CORE best practices.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of construction experience, with at least 5 years in a supervisory role.
• Healthcare construction experience.
• Certified Healthcare Construction (CHC) certification.
• Infection Control Risk Assessment (ICRA) certification.
• Experience delivering large-scale healthcare projects ($10M+ construction value).
• Prior experience working with active hospital campuses and/or phased renovation projects.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, MS Project, and Procore.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee all on-site construction activities from mobilization through project closeout
• Coach subcontractors on safe construction practices, including healthcare-specific safety and ICRA compliance
• Enforce quality control standards and ensure timely correction of subcontractor deficiencies
• Maintain and manage the project schedule, including critical path coordination
• Facilitate subcontractor coordination to minimize disruptions in active and occupied facilities
• Collaborate with owners, architects, engineers, and inspectors to resolve challenges and unforeseen conditions
• Review and interpret drawings, specifications, RFIs, ASIs, and material submittals
• Prepare daily field reports and weekly schedule updates
• Ensure compliance with CORE best practices related to safety, quality, schedule, and cost control
