McFarland Construction in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Healthcare Project Superintendent to lead field operations for occupied healthcare renovations, from preconstruction through completion. You will supervise subcontractors, manage schedules, ensure safety compliance, and coordinate with clients and facility staff, maintaining schedules and quality in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Science, Construction Management, or related field preferred.
• 5+ years of construction experience; significant healthcare construction experience strongly preferred.
• Experience with commercial upfits, interior renovations, complex MEP installations, and occupied healthcare facilities preferred.
• OSHA 30 preferred.
• Procore experience required.
• Strong ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, contracts, and other construction documents.
• Proven ability to lead multiple subcontractors and trades while managing competing priorities and demanding schedules.

Responsabilités

• Lead day-to-day field operations for healthcare construction projects from mobilization through completion.
• Develop and manage project schedules in coordination with the Project Manager and project team.
• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and trades to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule.
• Review plans, specifications, submittals, and contract documents to ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Monitor progress and proactively address scheduling, coordination, constructability, and field issues.
• Coordinate inspections, testing, deliveries, shutdowns, and other critical project activities.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional jobsite, including work in occupied healthcare facilities.
