Qualifications

• B.S. in construction management, construction science, engineering, or equivalent preferred; OSHA 30 training.
• 10+ years of commercial construction field experience with direct supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day field construction activities on assigned jobsite.
• Organize and manage large project staff across multiple owner-employees.
• Ensure site safety and implement safety plans and procedures.
• Review submittals, shop drawings, and schedules to determine scope and resources.
• Plan site layout and initiate startup activities including site security and utilities.
• Direct field engineers in initial survey and layout; verify dimensions before foundation work.
• Develop daily/weekly activity plans for each craft and provide technical instructions.
• Oversee procurement of self-performed building materials and tools from approved suppliers.
• Inspect all field work and ensure high-quality workmanship; supervise staff accordingly.
• Provide guidance to resolve day-to-day construction problems with engineers and architects.
