Job summary

The Senior Clinical Communications Liaison at University of Kansas Medical Center will develop and execute strategic communications plans for clinical audiences across large-scale initiatives and programs. In this role, routine messages will ensure timely, clear information across campuses and partner locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a licensed clinical profession or related field from an accredited college or university.
• 5+ years of experience providing patient care in nursing or another licensed clinical profession or as a clinical educator.
• 3+ years of healthcare experience.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a corporate communications consultant with day-to-day customer management.
• Manage customer expectations and participate in department meetings.
• Lead the development and deploy measurable, integrated employee communication materials and programs across campuses.
• Create and manage customer relations and communication tools, including newsletters and websites.
• Write employee news articles, product line literature, presentations, leadership bios, etc.
• Cascade key product line messages and drive them system-wide.
• Partner with product line leadership to educate employees on initiatives.
• Plan, drive and manage specialty programs, moderated web chats and webcasts.
• Support corporate communications initiatives and crisis communications as needed.
