Baskervill is seeking an experienced Healthcare Architect in Richmond, VA to lead design and execution across multiple healthcare projects. You will manage programming, design, and construction administration with hands-on mentorship, coordinating with internal teams and consultants to deliver innovative planning solutions.

The role requires a licensed architect with at least 12 years post-licensure experience, including 5 years leading healthcare teams, and strong Revit skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master of Architecture from an accredited program.
• 12 years of post-licensure experience with a minimum of 5 years leading teams on healthcare projects.
• Architecture license required.
• Proficiency in Revit.

Responsibilities

• Design and production from programming and concept through construction administration.
• Lead planning through all phases, including programming, design, fit-out and equipment planning.
• Lead multiple project teams simultaneously, providing project management and internal team guidance through every phase of design.
• Take a hands-on coaching and mentoring approach to oversee the design and technical quality throughout the execution of a project.
• Work directly with internal teams and consultants to develop creative healthcare planning strategies at all levels of detail, including new construction and renovations.
• Collaborate with studio leadership to enact drawing and specification quality assurance and control across the studio.
• Act as primary client contact, fostering client relationships and presenting design deliverables with your teammates.
