Job summary

Guidon Design is seeking a seasoned Healthcare Architect to lead the design and delivery of inpatient and outpatient healthcare projects. You will mentor architectural staff, guide multidisciplinary coordination, and ensure high‑quality construction documents while aligning with healthcare codes and client expectations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in architecture, engineering, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• Professional Registration required.
• 10+ years of experience in healthcare architecture.
• Strong knowledge of healthcare facility design, codes, regulations, and accreditation standards.
• Ability to lead client design meetings and coordinate with outside disciplines.
• Proven ability to create high-quality construction documents for healthcare buildings.
• Proficient in Revit and other design software.
• Knowledge of VA/DoD healthcare projects and government contracts is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop conceptual designs for healthcare facilities, inpatient and outpatient projects.
• Lead coordination with project teams to balance scope, schedule, and budget.
• Direct and mentor architects, designers, and consultants.
• Engage with clients to validate design intent and functionality.
• Oversee production of construction documents ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate with MEP engineers and consultants on complex systems.
• Participate in construction administration and site visits.
• Foster multidisciplinary collaboration to achieve design excellence.
