Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Minnesota is seeking an experienced Senior Account Manager to retain and expand major and national accounts, driving growth in ancillary products. You will lead contract renewals, manage client relationships, and collaborate with internal teams to implement contracts and ensure a superior customer experience.

The role requires 5+ years of account management, a valid MN Life & Health/Accident Producer License, and up to 10% overnight travel.

Qualifications

5+ years of related account management experience.
Bachelor’s degree; in lieu of a degree, an additional two years of relevant experience beyond the qualifications listed above may be accepted.
Possess and maintain a valid MN Resident Producer License in the lines of Life & Health/ Accident.
Overnight travel as required (less than 10%).

Responsibilities

Manage a portfolio of Major and National accounts by leading contract renewals, strengthening stakeholder relationships, and identifying opportunities to expand healthcare products and services.
Act as the primary client relationship manager, collaborating with internal teams to ensure successful contract implementation, resolve service issues, and deliver a high‑quality customer experience.
Drives retention and revenue growth through strategic account planning, data analytics, executive engagement, and support of new business development initiatives.
