Qualifications

• Knowledge of generally accepted accounting procedures and principles.
• Proficiency in computer software (i.e., Microsoft Office).
• Ability to analyze, consolidate, and interpret accounting data.
• Ability to compile, organize, interpret, and communicate accounting data and results concisely.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and enters month-end journal entries.
• Extracts data for analysis and interpretation.
• Reviews variances in accounts.
• Prepares monthly general ledger reconciliations and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Supports the preparation of financial reporting deliverables on periodic basis.
• Prepares reports for management and other departments.
• Assists in audits and ad-hoc reporting as needed.
• Mentors lower-level accountants and assists with process improvements.
