This role emphasizes review of reconciliations, journal entries, budgeting, forecasting, and month-end close. You will mentor team members and contribute to business growth while maintaining strong client relationships.

Qualifications

• Experience managing multiple client engagements and deadlines.
• Ability to review reconciliations and prepare complex bank, credit card, and loan reconciliations.
• Strong client service and ability to explain financial information to non-accounting audiences.
• Experience budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Provide accounting support for a portfolio of small to mid-sized clients.
• Review reconciliations and prepare complex bank, credit card, and loan reconciliations.
• Review standard journal entries and prepare non-standard adjusting entries.
• Analyze financial activity and identify variances.
• Manage invoicing, statements, and collections.
• Review accounts payable transactions and advise on variances.
• Prepare and file complex 1099 reporting.
• Assist with grant accounting, including budget prep and reporting.
• Serve as primary contact for client questions and day-to-day financial matters.
• Prepare month-end close support and financial reporting packages.
• Review financial statements and client-specific management reports.
• Maintain depreciation and amortization schedules.
• Perform budget-to-actual variance analyses.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow projection activities.
