Position Summary

The Health Systems Manager will identify, develop, and maintain relationships with targeted Centers of Excellence, Hospitals, thought leaders, and key influencers within the assigned Region. Responsible for aligning on mutually beneficial opportunities that will advance patient care and result in the acceleration of access and market share for Acadia’s commercial organization.

Principal Responsibilities

• Identify business opportunities, develop complex approaches to account engagement, and execute against strategic imperatives.
• Develop and advance relationships with influential & relevant Key Medical Experts.
• Understand patient journeys and care gaps to educate on potential EHR interventions within Centers of Excellence and IDNs.
• Implement medication transitions of care processes within hospitals, including discharge order sets.
• Understand P&T processes for assigned IDNs and institutions to assist in formulary access and EHR interventions.
• Conduct IDN SPP QBRs to advance projects, overcome access barriers, and identify future opportunities.
• Engage Fellows & Residents to align on project development within Centers of Excellence, IDNs, or Health Systems.
• Meet Brand and Access Objectives to grow market share while ensuring compliance.
• Record account information and competitive intelligence using available tools.
• Create access and pull-through opportunities for the field sales team within Centers of Excellence.
• Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and healthcare laws.

Experience Required

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Life Sciences, or related field.
• At least 5 years in pharmaceuticals, life sciences, account management, or hospital sales.

Preferred & Senior Level Qualifications

• Experience in CNS and Specialty Pharmacy.
• Experience with institutional and/or IDN/complex systems.
• For Senior Health Systems Manager: at least 8 years in pharmaceuticals or life sciences, with 3+ years in leadership roles at the national level.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, Smartsheet, CRM.
• Ability to analyze data, operate independently, and influence without authority.
• Strong communication skills and executive presence.
• Willingness to travel 50-75%.

Physical Requirements

This role involves standing, walking, sitting, handling equipment, reaching, climbing, and occasional lifting up to 20 pounds. Travel by car or plane is required up to 75%. Must live near a major airport.

Compensation

Base salary range: $116,000—$173,600 USD. Additional discretionary bonuses and equity may apply based on performance and location.
