Job summary

Holtec International seeks a Sr. HP Specialist, Dosimetry to lead the site radiation protection program, focusing on internal and external dosimetry, dose assessment, source term control, and radiological monitoring.

You will provide health physics support to plant operations, ensure regulatory compliance, perform analyses, and engage with agencies and industry groups. On-call Emergency Response Organization duties apply.

Qualifications

• Experience with Sentinel dosimetry systems and PADs database required.
• ANSI/ANS 3.1-1978 section 4.4.4 understanding and five years in applied radiation protection.
• Strong technical understanding of nuclear generation and operations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; conflict management skills.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain Radiation Dosimetry Programs; monitor and report exposures.
• Perform external and internal dose calculations and area monitoring.
• Interface with regulatory bodies and industry representatives; communicate technical info clearly.
• Serve on the Emergency Response Organization and be on-call as required.
• Understand adverse radiological conditions on equipment and personnel performance.
