Qualifications

• B.S. in Science or Engineering or eight years of radiation safety experience in lieu of degree.
• M.S. in Science or Engineering or Ph.D. in Science or Engineering.
• With B.S. degree, nine years of radiation safety experience required.
• With M.S. degree, six years of radiation safety experience required.
• With Ph.D. degree, three years of radiation safety experience required.

Responsibilities

• May provide technical guidance to health physics analysts and plant management.
• Lead on medium to large projects and major investigations.
• Present to regulatory, industry, and management personnel; interface with regulators.
• Set guidelines for radiological control programs and license/permit activities.
• Work on complex problems requiring in-depth analysis and independent work.
