Job summary

Trinity Health is seeking a Health Informatics professional to join the team in Michigan. The role focuses on researching, collecting and analyzing information to identify opportunities and lead through resolution, while distributing analytical reports to support performance improvement and patient experience.

The position requires experience with health informatics, clinical information systems, and project/change management, with a strong emphasis on data-driven decision making.

Qualifications

• Must possess a comprehensive knowledge of Health Informatics through a combination of education and experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Health Informatics or related discipline required OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must possess a comprehensive knowledge of Health Informatics with at least four (4) years of progressively more responsible experience in Health Informatics, utilizing clinical information systems and health information technology; and leading change management and project management initiatives.
• Advanced understanding of clinical treatment modalities, educational principles, clinical information systems, accreditation and regulatory standards, and program development.

Responsibilities

• Researches, collects & analyzes information. Identifies opportunities, develops solutions, & leads through resolution.
• Collaborates on performance improvement activities as indicated by outcomes in program efficiency & patient experience.
• Responsible for distribution of analytical reports.
• Utilizes multiple system applications to perform analysis, create reports & develop educational materials.
