Segal is seeking a Senior Health Benefits Analyst to support a broad range of group health benefits consulting for clients in the West region. The role involves significant client interaction, data analysis, and collaboration with health benefits consultants and client teams.

The Senior Health Benefits Analyst analyzes health care data, builds budget projections, performs renewal analyses, and may supervise analysts.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal/communication and writing skills.
• Proven problem-solving, analytical and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency with project management.
• Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks in a demanding work environment.
• Ability to work independently and interact collaboratively as part of a client team.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Asana is a plus.
• CEBS exams and/or pursuing other relevant accreditation is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and interpret health care data including medical, prescription drug, stop loss, dental, vision, life and disability coverages.
• Produce budget projections and incurred but not reported reserves calculations.
• Price health coverages using experience and/or rating tools and perform renewal analyses.
• Prepare bids and analyze vendor proposals; write reports and memoranda for clients.
