Job summary

Highmark Health is seeking a senior health data analyst to develop data-driven insights that advance health outcomes and reduce costs. You will aggregate and analyze complex data, and articulate findings and recommendations to diverse internal and external customers.

You will lead the design and delivery of analyses using clinical, member, financial and administrative data, serving as a consultative expert and mentor while aligning with organizational priorities and quality of care goals.

Qualifications

• 5 years leading design, execution and dissemination of clinical/population health reporting and studies.
• 5 years with coding languages, analytical software, systems and processes using diverse data.
• 3 years of project leadership in a complex, matrixed environment.
• 3 years of providing analytical consultation to stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Leads design, development, execution and interpretation of analyses and reports to improve health outcomes and care quality.
• Forges relationships with clinical, administrative, operational, financial and technical stakeholders.
• Provides thought leadership and subject matter expertise as a strategic partner.
• Mentors colleagues across the enterprise in analytics and best practices.
• Performs other duties as assigned or requested.
