Job summary

Marsh is seeking an experienced Health Actuary Leader to join the Actuarial and Financial Consulting team within the People and Investment group in the United States. The role is hybrid with in-office presence required at least three days per week.

You will lead client engagements, review analyses for actuarial soundness, and develop strategic recommendations for health and welfare programs. Strong leadership and advanced actuarial credentials (ASA/FSA) are required.

Qualifications

• 15+ years' experience in actuarial field; consulting experience preferred.
• ASA/FSA credential.
• Strong analytical skills, quantitative and qualitative, and proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Proven project management skills and ability to lead teams under tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Lead routine client engagements, including service delivery, strategy, and plan design for health and welfare insurance.
• Review analyses prepared by junior staff for actuarial soundness and model usage.
• Leverage AI and technology-enabled tools in analyses and client work.
• Perform and review complex health care cost projections using Excel, SAS, and related tools; adapt pricing models as needed.
• Draft and review client reports or presentations with recommendations and strategies.
