Mercer is seeking a Sr Health Actuarial Consultant to lead client engagements on health benefits, including financial projections and plan design optimization. You will serve as the primary financial contact for clients and guide analysts and associates.

The role requires a BA/BS in a related field, at least 4 years in health actuarial consulting, and progress toward ASA designation. A hybrid work model is in effect with in-office presence required three days per week.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in actuarial science, math, statistics, finance, economics, or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years' experience in actuarial field with health and benefits consulting.
• Progress toward ASA designation.
• Client facing experience.
• Strong analytical skills and MS Office proficiency.

Responsabilités

• Lead routine client engagements including financial evaluations and renewal negotiations.
• Review junior staff analyses for actuarial soundness and development.
• Leverage AI and technology-enabled tools in delivery.
• Perform and review complex analyses and cost projections using Excel and SAS.
• Draft and review client reports/presentations with recommendations.
