Job summary

TRC Companies, Inc. seeks an experienced Hazardous Building Materials/Industrial Hygiene Senior Project Manager to join our Greater Boston, MA offices. You will lead safety and environmental projects, coordinate with clients, and mentor junior staff.

The role requires 8+ years in hazardous materials, indoor air quality, and regulatory programs, plus strong proposal and budgeting skills. Travel across New England is expected, with flexible work arrangements where appropriate.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in science, engineering, safety, industrial hygiene or related field.
• 8+ years managing hazardous building materials, indoor air quality, industrial hygiene, safety, or environmental compliance projects.
• Experience in business development, client management, proposals and budgets to grow revenue.
• Financial management of projects and clients including budgeting, profitability, invoicing and cash flow.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Willingness to respond to emergencies, adaptable to schedules and travel.
• Must pass pre-employment checks and have a valid driver's license.
• Travel throughout MA and New England is expected.

Responsibilities

• Pursuit of new clientele to expand presence in Greater Boston and New England markets.
• Build and maintain key client relationships to grow services with existing clients.
• Coordinate with other senior PMs and seller-doers within EHS and SIH units.
• Develop proposals for hazardous building materials, indoor air quality, industrial hygiene, and safety services.
• Interface between clients, field staff, contractors and regulatory agencies.
• Prepare inspection/assessment reports and abatement/remedial designs.
• Mentor and train junior field staff.
