Job summary

Terabase Energy, Inc. is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead a Test & Validation function within their hardware engineering program in Davis, CA. You will be responsible for managing a team dedicated to validating product compliance and performance through effective testing and certification processes.

The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of engineering experience, a strong background in test and validation for outdoor hardware, and leadership skills to develop and guide a team.

Offering a base salary of $150,000–$175,000, this role also provides competitive benefits, including medical coverage and 401(k) match.

Qualifications

• 10+ years engineering experience, with 3+ years in a people management role.
• Demonstrated experience leading test and validation programs for outdoor hardware.
• Working knowledge of safety standards relevant to outdoor utility-scale hardware.

Responsibilities

• Build, hire, develop, and manage a team of engineers and technicians.
• Own the field validation strategy for prototype hardware.
• Define and execute test plans, acceptance criteria, and validation protocols.
