Job summary

Knowles Corporation in Itasca, IL, is seeking an experienced Test Solutions Engineer to design and implement product test solutions across hardware, firmware, and software domains. The role requires a strong background in electronics hardware testing, Altium, and multi-site program leadership, with a focus on signal acoustics and test automation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering; MS preferred.
• 4–15 years of experience developing hardware for small signal audio, and/or large signal audio test solutions.
• Experience developing hardware test systems across sites.
• Ability to lead complex technical programs across multiple sites.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Co-Develop Acoustic Test solutions for the production factory and R&D, following department processes.
• Perform statistical analysis to characterize and validate acoustic test systems; standardize test platforms and measurement systems across sites.
• Partner with Operations, Product Engineering, Quality, NPI, and Manufacturing leadership to define next-generation test strategies.
• Provide technical coaching across global test engineering teams; lead technology investigations and proof-of-concept projects.
