Job summary

Beacon Biosignals in Boston, MA is advancing brain health with at-home EEG platforms for clinical development and diagnostics. We are seeking a hardware test engineer to drive hardware and firmware testing from concept through production, ensuring quality and regulatory compliance for medical devices.

You will develop and execute test plans, protocols, and scripts for embedded systems, create fixtures and test equipment, and perform functional, integration, and regression testing while

Qualifications

BS in engineering or related field is required.
Experience with embedded software running on RTOS is required.
Ability to read electrical schematics and write test plans.
Experience documenting requirements, plans, protocols, and reports.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute device testing per QMS.
Create and maintain test plans, protocols, and scripts for hardware, firmware, and software.
Develop procedures and fixtures for testing.
Perform functional, integration, system, and regression testing.
Collaborate with hardware and firmware engineers to troubleshoot issues.
Ensure compliance with FDA, CE and 60601 standards.
