Job summary

Amazon Pharmacy is advancing hardware and robotics to enhance fulfillment capabilities. The role involves conceiving and developing new hardware architectures, designing control systems, and collaborating with multi‑disciplinary teams to move concepts to production.

You will mentor engineers, drive development programs from concept to commercialization, and support cost reduction and sustaining activities while ensuring compliance and performance verification.

Qualifications

• Experience developing functional specifications, design verification plans and functional test procedures.
• Experience working with interdisciplinary teams to execute product design from concept to production.
• 10+ years of professional experience.
• Bachelor's of Science in Electrical, Controls, or Mechatronics Engineering discipline.

Responsibilities

• Conceive, design and develop innovative hardware and controls architectures for new products.
• Contribute to system design, including development of 3D models/assemblies, PLC systems, sensor selection and/or electrical schematics.
• Work with vendors and cross-functional teams to bring concepts to production and commercialization.
• Develop business case, application, and theory of operation for engineering systems and document for senior management.
• Drive product definition, development execution and testing; identify and mitigate risks.
