Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking a Product Manager to invent and deliver hardware products for a zero carbon future. You will own end-to-end product development, define customer experiences, and drive product strategy.

The role demands strong technical depth, data-driven analysis, and effective communication with senior leaders across stakeholders. Experience with hardware product development and launching customer devices is required; sustainability experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience.
• Bachelor's degree.
• Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product.
• Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition.
• Experience with end to end product delivery.
• Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product.
• Experience managing technical products or online services.
• Experience representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning.
• Experience in new hardware product development.

Responsibilities

• Define and build new hardware products.
• Inspire the team with the product vision, generate buy-in for the product vision with leadership and partner teams, and work cross-functionally to bring the product to life.
• Understand and articulate customer needs, conduct on-going customer research (in partnership with research team), leverage internal knowledge and expertise, and prioritize requirements.
• Be a passionate advocate for the customer; provide the voice of the customer.
• Manage the product life cycle from inception to launch: translate end-to-end customer experiences into clearly defined product requirements and manage prioritization and trade-offs to ensure delivery of a great customer experience.
• Evaluate business opportunities, defining and re-defining business models and applying, or creating, new and emerging technologies.
• Create the business case. Determine the product pricing, product cost and go to market strategy.
• Be the domain expert for your product line tracking trends, new technologies, and opportunities to partner.
