Nayax, a global fintech leader, seeks a Senior Hardware Product Engineer to own the hardware roadmap end-to-end for XLynk and Manufacturing Partner lines, driving third-party hardware integrations.

Based in Schenectady, NY, this onsite role reports to the CTO Energy, with broad ownership across markets. You will collaborate with engineering, sales, and compliance to ensure robust hardware products and regulatory alignment worldwide.

Qualifications

• Real industry experience in EV charging, IoT hardware, or unattended-payment hardware.
• A track record of owning a hardware product roadmap end-to-end and having the scars to prove it.
• Genuine comfort working across global markets, including hardware compliance/certification considerations that vary by region.

Responsibilities

• Own and drive the hardware roadmap for the XLynk and Manufacturing Partner hardware lines — set the direction, don’t just follow it.
• Own our 3rd‑party hardware profile outright — the catalog of approved vendors, technical specs, and integration/certification status across every hardware partner we work with, kept sharp and current.
• Define and manage global hardware requirements — you decide what hardware works, and can be sold, in which markets, and defend that call.
• Partner cross‑functionally with engineering, sales, and compliance to align hardware strategy with market and customer needs — and push back when it doesn’t.
• Own hardware compliance and certification requirements across every territory we operate in — no market gets overlooked, no regulation gets missed as things shift.
• Own integration testing across our hardware and third‑party partners — you validate it works in the real world before it ever reaches a customer, not after.

We’re after elite talent — a Senior Hardware Product Engineer who can own our hardware roadmap end-to-end and make every market we ship to better for it.

In this role, you’ll own the hardware product roadmap across our XLynk and Manufacturing Partner product lines and drive our third‑party hardware integrations — no hand‑holding, no hedging, just real ownership.

The Senior Hardware Product Engineer reports directly to the Chief Technology Officer, Energy, with direct visibility into the executive team.

This role is based in Schenectady, NY (preferred) — hands‑on, where the decisions get made.

This role requires working onsite from our Schenectady, NY office five days per week.

Your Key Responsibilities Will Include

Requirements

• A track record of owning a hardware product roadmap end‑to‑end and having the scars to prove it
• Genuine comfort working across global markets, including hardware compliance/certification considerations that vary by region

Nice‑to‑Have Skills

• Direct experience with third‑party OEM or vendor hardware integration
• Background specifically in EV charging or energy hardware
• Familiarity with regional hardware certification regimes (e.g. FCC, CE, RCM)

Compensation And Benefits

• The base salary range for this position is $90,000‑$120,000 per year
• Eligibility for an annual performance bonus and additional benefits.
• Final compensation will be determined based on experience and qualifications.
