Job summary

XDOF is seeking a Mechanical/Product Design Engineer to lead the full mechanical design of exciting consumer hardware. You will own surfacing, CAD assemblies, and collaboration with design and engineering teams to ensure premium form and function, while addressing manufacturability and assembly challenges.

You will work through the entire NP I process with CM/ODM partners, applying GD&T, tolerancing, and material choices to deliver products that feel premium in hand and easy to manufacture.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of mechanical design experience, with at least 2 years in consumer electronics.
• Expert-level proficiency in Fusion 360, SOLIDWORKS, or NX with mastery of surfacing/class-A modeling.
• Hands-on knowledge of CNC machining, injection molding, and 3D printing.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical design of consumer-facing hardware products from concept through mass production.
• Create and own high-quality surface models and detailed CAD assemblies.
• Collaborate with industrial designers to translate visual intent into manufacturable geometry.
