Job summary

Beacon Biosignals in Boston is looking for a test engineer to contribute to EEG and Home Sleep Test systems development. This position requires 5+ years of engineering experience, including responsibilities like developing test plans and conducting thorough testing on hardware and firmware.

The ideal candidate will bring strong documentation skills, experience with embedded software, and a familiarity with industry standards. A hybrid working model is offered, with in-office requirements three days a week.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional engineering experience with a BS or 3+ years with an MS degree.
• Experience with writing detailed technical specifications and documentation.
• Ability to read and follow electrical schematics.
• Experience with embedded software and RTOS.
• Experience in troubleshooting and root cause analysis.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute device testing per Beacon’s QMS.
• Develop and document test plans, protocols, and scripts for embedded systems.
• Conduct functional, integration, and regression testing on hardware and firmware.
