Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, mechatronics, robotics, or electrical engineering.
• Typically 8+ years of experience in hardware programs from concept to deployment.
• Proven ownership of complex hardware projects across mechanical, electrical, optical, and software domains.
• Expertise with 3D CAD and design-for-manufacture practices.

Responsibilities

• Define technical architecture and long-term roadmap for robotic hardware and workcells.
• Lead end‑effectors and data-collection hardware development with validation plans.
• Mentor engineers and drive design reviews and reporting across teams.
• Partner with ML/data teams to ensure hardware supports training data quality.
