Job summary

Cleaveland/Price is seeking an Electrical Engineer in Trafford, PA to join the Electronic Design team. The role focuses on hardware solutions across the product lifecycle, from new design to obsolescence management and test system creation.

The Senior-level position requires a strong background in analog and digital circuitry, PCB layout, Altium, and circuit simulation, with familiarity in high-voltage products used by utilities and large industrials.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited B.S. in Electrical Engineering.
• Experience with analog and digital circuit design.
• Experience with PCB layout and Altium or similar tool.
• Experience with circuit simulation software (SPICE).
• Knowledge of three-phase power systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, simulate, prototype, and test analog and digital circuitry.
• Design PCBs with manufacturability in mind, coordinate with contract manufacturers.
• Collaborate with mechanical engineers on packaging and drawings with assembly details.
• Use lab equipment to test and troubleshoot new and existing designs.
• Assist in regulatory compliance testing with external labs as needed.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
• Support design reviews and internal engineering control processes.
