Job summary

Maxonic Inc. is seeking a Hardware Engineer to contribute to failure analysis and debugging of hardware across servers and networking equipment. The role involves owning issue debugging and providing actionable insights to improve reliability and manufacturability.

You will work onsite in Fremont, CA or Nashville, TN as part of the Engineering Services team. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of hardware development experience, strong fundamentals in electronics, experience with PCI‑e/USB, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field is required.
• 5+ years of professional hardware development experience.
• Solid foundation in electronics and hardware system integration.
• Experience with PCI‑e, USB, and system buses in test or debug.
• Proficient with test and measurement tools such as oscilloscopes and DMM.
• Experience with Redfish or IPMI for validation or issue resolution.
• Strong documentation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Failure analysis and debugging of hardware failures across development and production.
• Participate in New Product Introduction (NPI) and ramp-up activities.
• Produce detailed test reports and maintain traceable documentation.
• Provide hands-on technical support during testing, pilot builds, or production runs.
• Collaborate with engineers and stakeholders to meet project goals.
• Handle additional engineering tasks as assigned by supervisor.
