Job summary

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • 5+ years of experience developing commercial electronic products.
  • PCB design: schematic capture, layout review, manufacturing release.
  • Analog/mixed-signal circuit design with sensing and power electronics.
  • Circuit simulation and verification tools.
  • EMC, isolation, thermal management, reliability-focused design.
  • Hands-on hardware debugging with laboratory equipment.
  • Embedded systems exposure and hardware-software integration.
  • Experience in industrial, energy, automation, or mission-critical sectors is advantageous.

About the Role

Working within a highly collaborative engineering organization, you will take ownership of complex hardware development projects from concept and architecture through validation, certification, and production. This role is ideal for an engineer who enjoys solving challenging technical problems, influencing product direction, and delivering innovative solutions that have a tangible impact on global industries.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and development of advanced electronic hardware systems from concept, architecture, and detailed design through validation and production release.
  • Drive PCB development activities, including schematic capture, layout oversight, design reviews, and manufacturing readiness.
  • Develop analog, digital, and mixed-signal circuitry for sensing, monitoring, control, power management, and communication applications.
  • Conduct system bring-up, verification, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis using structured engineering methodologies and laboratory instrumentation.
  • Collaborate with firmware, manufacturing, quality, and compliance teams to ensure reliable and scalable product delivery.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineers while contributing to engineering standards and best practices across the organization.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.

Required Skills

  • 5+ years of experience developing commercial electronic products from concept through production.
  • Strong PCB design experience, including schematic capture, layout review, and manufacturing release.
  • Expertise in analog and mixed-signal circuit design, including signal conditioning, sensing, and power electronics.
  • Experience with circuit simulation and design verification tools.
  • Knowledge of EMC, electrical isolation requirements, thermal management, and reliability-focused design practices.
  • Strong hands-on hardware debugging and validation experience using modern laboratory equipment.
  • Exposure to embedded systems, microcontroller-based designs, and hardware-software integration.
  • Experience within industrial, energy, automation, transportation, or mission-critical infrastructure sectors is advantageous.
  • Demonstrated ability to leverage modern engineering productivity tools while maintaining strong technical and commercial judgment.
