The ideal Hardware/Electrical Engineer would have present, prior or previous experience of Robotics, Automotive, Autonomous Vehicles, Unmanned Vehicles, UGV’s, GPS Positioning Technology.

Salary on offer:

The annual salary on offer for the successful Senior Hardware Engineer is $150,000 - $190,000 per annum.

Summary of the Hardware Engineering Role:

The successful Senior Hardware Engineer will have an exciting varied role as you will be a major player for the design, development, and documentation of Electronics Hardware Design & Embedded Software Development across the full product design.

Senior Hardware Engineer Key Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or Equivalent
• Minimum of 5 years of industry experience
• Experienced in the full product design lifecycle
• PCB Design & Schematic Capture
• Experience using Altium designer or similar
• Experience of Embedded C, C++, Python
• Experience of IMU’s, AI, Open Pilot AI, Git/GitHub, ROS2, LLM
• Exposure to system integration and test
• Ability to use test equipment – Oscilloscopes, multimeters, logic analysers
• Experience troubleshooting complex issues across hardware, firmware, embedded software,
• Experience with EMC/EMI, DFT, DFM, NPI, CE Marking, sensors, power management, and signal/power integrity
• Industry experience – Robotics, Automotive, Autonomous Vehicles, Unmanned Vehicles, UGV’s, GPS Positioning Technology
