Job summary

Rochester Sensors, an Amphenol Company, seeks a Senior Electrical Design Engineer in Coppell, TX to own electronic hardware for liquid level and sensing products. You will drive from concept through production, handling analog/mixed-signal design, PCB layout, verification, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure robust, field-ready solutions.

The role requires hands-on engineering in harsh environments with wide temperature ranges and high vibration.

Qualifications

• Strong analog and mixed-signal circuit design experience.
• Hands-on experience with sensing or instrumentation technologies.
• PCB design ownership from schematic to bring-up and debug.
• Experience with embedded interfaces (I2C, SPI, UART, CAN, LIN, RS-485).
• Clear communicator with cross-functional collaboration and root cause analysis.

Responsibilities

• Own the electrical design from concept to production release.
• Design high-performance analog/mixed-signal circuitry and sensor interfaces.
• Lead PCB schematic capture, layout guidance, and manufacturability decisions.
• Collaborate with firmware, mechanical, and manufacturing teams for integration.
• Plan and execute design verification and product validation, including environmental testing.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering

Master's degree a plus
