A leading company in the automotive sector seeks a Senior Hardware Design Engineer for their Central Compute team in Milford, Michigan. The role involves overseeing the design and development of next-generation Compute hardware while adhering to quality and safety standards. Hybrid. This role is categorized as hybrid. The successful candidate is expected to report to Warren or Milford, Michigan at least three times per week.
The Role

Our Central Compute hardware team develops cutting-edge technologies such as premium In-Vehicle Infotainment display and audio features, Mechatronics control, radio and Bluetooth connectivity, and Super Cruise Hands-Free Automated Driving to enhance vehicle safety, performance, and autonomy.
As we in-source hardware design, we are building a hardware engineering team responsible for the end-to-end design and development of our Central Compute hardware.
In this role, the Senior Hardware Design Engineer – Central Compute will oversee the technical design and development of GM’s next-generation Central Compute hardware platform. The ideal candidate will have a background in automotive ECU architecture, design, analysis, and proven experience in launching Compute hardware into production.
