Job summary

WorkGenius Group seeks a Senior Designer, Handbags and Accessories for a 6‑month maternity coverage in New York. You will lead seasonal concepts, hardware development, and produce CADs and technical specs for handbags and small leather goods.

Hybrid in NYC, 40 hours/week. Work with overseas teams and stay ahead of luxury trends. Must have 7–10 years of accessory design experience and strong Photoshop/Illustrator skills.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of accessory design experience, preferably with handbags.
• Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
• Proficiency with AI design applications.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to contribute artistically and technically.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to seasonal concept development, including color palettes, storytelling, and mood direction.
• Create and develop hardware families that complement the collection and broaden customer appeal.
• Sketch and produce detailed specifications for handbags, small leather goods, and belts.
• Communicate directly with overseas teams and stay current on competitive and luxury market trends.
• Develop CADs, recolor styles in Photoshop, and create full-scale artwork and technique layouts.
