Mass General Brigham is seeking a Senior Occupational Therapist with hand therapy expertise for a dual-site role at Chestnut Hill and Longwood Medical Area in Boston. The incumbent will treat the hand/wrist/forearm/elbow, work with Hand Surgeons, and participate in a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications include a master’s or doctorate in OT/PT, MA licensure, and at least four years of hand therapy experience.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy or Doctorate in Physical Therapy preferred; Bachelor's degree required. No exception for experience in lieu of a degree.
• Must graduate from an accredited OT or PT program and hold a current MA license; Certified Hand Therapist preferred.
• Minimum four years of clinical experience in hand therapy with demonstrated competency.

Responsabilités

• Evaluates patient's OT needs and develops a treatment plan to maximize function.
• Demonstrates competency in adult outpatient hand therapy.
• Acts as a clinical or non-clinical resource.
• Collaborates with other health care team members to coordinate therapies.
• Orientation of new staff and participation in committees; contributes to policy updates.
• Participates in quality assurance programs for clinical service.
• Assists in triaging referrals and monitoring discharges.
• Manages department supplies and equipment inventory.
• Participates in departmental meetings to develop policies and procedures.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
