Job summary

LTIMindtree is seeking an experienced Hadoop Administrator to deploy and maintain the Hadoop cluster in Irving, TX, a hybrid role with three on-site days. You will configure NameNode high availability, monitor jobs, and work with DB, network, BI, and application teams to ensure high availability and performance of big data applications.

The role requires 8+ years of Hadoop experience, hands-on configuration of CoreSite/HDFS/YARN/MapR sites, and strong capacity planning.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in Hadoop administration and cluster management.
• Configure and maintain NameNode high availability (HA).
• Monitor Hadoop jobs and cluster health using monitoring tools.
• Plan capacity and scale Hadoop clusters based on data growth.
• Collaborate with DB, network, BI, and app teams to ensure availability.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and maintain the Hadoop cluster.
• Add/remove nodes and monitor cluster using Ganglia/Nagios or Cloudera Manager.
• Configure CoreSite, HDFS Site, YARN Site, MapR Site configurations.
• Ensure 24/7 availability, performance, and security of the Hadoop infra.
• Troubleshoot application errors and manage logs, backup, and recovery.
