Summary: The Sr. HACCP Supervisor ensures food safety, quality, and sanitation throughout the plant. This role oversees the development, maintenance, and compliance of the company’s HACCP Plan, SSOPs, GMPs, and BRC standards. The position also leads and supports QA Technicians through coaching, training, and day-to-day supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the food safety team and facilitate regular meetings.
- Oversee daily production to ensure compliance with all quality and safety procedures.
- Supervise QA technicians and provide support to the FSQA department.
- Ensure required product and environmental testing is performed (e.g., weights, package integrity, sensory, thermometer verification, microbiological testing).
- Maintain and monitor BRC and USDA compliance standards.
- Act as a liaison with USDA.
- Prepare for and lead BRC and 3rd-party audits.
- Support policy and goal development with senior management.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the FSQA Manager.
Working Conditions:
- Regular exposure to cold environments.
- Must be able to stand for long periods.
- Must be able to lift/move up to 25 lbs.
- Occasional weekend or off-shift work may be required.
Requirements:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Safety, Animal Science, Natural Science, or related field, or equivalent job experience.
Experience:
- 2+ years in food manufacturing preferred.
- Prior supervisory experience preferred.
- HACCP certification preferred.
- Strong knowledge of HACCP, USDA, GMPs, and SSOPs.
Computer Skills:
- Proficient in standard computer software; spreadsheet creation required.
- SAP experience is a plus.
Communication Skills:
- Strong verbal and written communication across all organizational levels.
Supervisory:
- Responsible for scheduling, labor management, and attendance tracking of QA Technicians.

- Must reside in the United States to be considered.
