Job summary

COUNTRY Financial® in Bloomington, IL seeks a skilled Guidewire Solution Architect to join its Commercial & Agribusiness Insurance team. This role involves overseeing technical direction and collaboration with various stakeholders to implement and deliver business solutions using Guidewire PolicyCenter.

The ideal candidate should have 14+ years of relevant experience, excellent communication skills, and proficiency in Agile development methodologies, alongside expert knowledge of Guidewire's systems and tools.

Qualifications

• Typically requires 14+ years of relevant experience or a combination of related experience, education and training.
• Strong organizational, written and oral communication skills.
• Experience with Commercial Lines Property/Casualty insurance products.
• Expert level knowledge of Guidewire’s PolicyCenter, including configuration and integration capabilities and cloud implementations.
• Demonstrated forward‑thinking skills and ability to contribute to overall business direction and recommend improvement ideas.
• Proven ability to work within an Agile development life cycle.

Responsibilities

• Design solutions after gathering business and technical requirements.
• Develop high-performing software solutions that meet technical standards.
• Support testing and problem-solving/debugging of solutions.
• Work closely with vendors to ensure successful delivery of system functions.
