Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a Technical Sr Developer specializing in Guidewire InsuranceNow (ACX) in Phoenix, AZ. The role focuses on developing and supporting InsuranceNow configurations and customizations and collaborating with product management and QA teams to deliver changes.

The candidate will own technical quality across the development lifecycle, lead configuration and implementation of rate filings and underwriting rules, and ensure solutions align with architecture and security standards.

Qualifications

• Deep hands-on configuration within Guidewire InsuranceNow (ACX).
• Experience with claims and billing configurations.
• Ratebook and pricing configuration experience.
• Product model changes and state-specific filings.
• Ability to assess impacts of product changes across jurisdictions.

Responsibilities

• Review designs, configuration changes, and code.
• Guide defect remediation strategy.
• Support UAT and production readiness.
• Ensure release quality and stability.
• Establish and enforce unit testing standards for code changes.
