Job summary

S4 Technologies Inc. is seeking a skilled Guidewire Developer to apply advanced insurance domain knowledge and enterprise software development on Guidewire Platform technologies. A bachelor’s degree in a related field is required.

Responsibilities include designing and implementing solutions with PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, and BillingCenter, customizing with Gosu, and integrating Guidewire with external systems via web services. Prior Guidewire, Java, and CI/CD familiarity is preferred.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
Experience with Guidewire applications such as PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, or BillingCenter.
Proficiency in Gosu programming language.
Strong understanding of insurance domain concepts (P&C insurance preferred).
Experience with web services (SOAP/REST) and integration patterns.
Knowledge of relational databases such as Oracle or SQL Server.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and implement Guidewire solutions (PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, BillingCenter).
Customize Guidewire applications using Gosu.
Develop and maintain integrations between Guidewire and external systems via web services and messaging.
Configure business rules, workflows, and data models in Guidewire.
Work on Guidewire Data Model extensions and UI configurations.
Perform unit testing, debugging, and performance tuning.
Collaborate with analysts, QA, and stakeholders to gather requirements.
