Job description

7 to 10 years total IT experience with at least 2 years in PC configuration and rating.


A Rating Lead is expected to carry out the following:

  1. Requirement Elicitation
  2. Participate in workshops
  3. Prepare Design documents
  4. Software Configuration management
  5. Create, tag and Merge branch
  6. Complete understanding of GW rating framework
  7. Write Pseudo code
  8. Analyse Legacy rate tables
  9. Defining Rate tables
  10. Defining Rate routines
  11. Designing Rating framework
  12. Analysing Rating issues
  13. Development using Gosu for Classes and Enhancement
  14. Prepare UTC and perform unit testing
  15. Perform peer review
  16. Mentor Junior developers

Responsibilities:

  1. To maintain existing features, troubleshoot bugs, resolve ad-hoc requests, and provide support for enhancement (major and minor) or new developments based on business or client requirements as well as from the functional and technical team of HCL on the project.
  2. To provide client support by presenting data, information, ticket resolution and day-to-day support activities like monitoring client requirements as well as keeping track of schedule for on-time delivery of assigned tasks as per the defined quality standards.
  3. To interact with the customer and internal teams to gather requirements for development purposes.
  4. To perform activities related to enhancement creation of documents for CMMi and client requirements.
  5. To provide technical guidance to junior developers.
